Miriam is an attorney-at-law and tax advisor. She obtained her LL.M. degree from Queen Mary University of London, specialising in international arbitration and commercial law, her JUDr. degree from Pan-European University, and her Ing. degree from the Faculty of Commerce of the Bratislava University of Economics and Business. She completed the prestigious ICC Advanced Arbitration Academy for Central and Eastern Europe, focused on arbitration proceedings, under the auspices of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC).

Her qualification in both the legal and economic fields enables her to provide top-tier legal services on projects requiring comprehensive legal and economic analyses. Through her work for Slovak as well as international clients, she has gained experience in the areas of tax law, corporate law and construction law, as well as in dispute resolution, including representing clients in arbitration and court proceedings.

Since 2022 she has been the President of the Slovak Chamber of Tax Advisors, which she represents in the Fiscal Committee of the Confédération Fiscale Européenne (CFE). She also serves as a leader of the Civil Code Task Force of the American Chamber of Commerce in the Slovak Republic (AmCham).

Miriam is a Vice-President of the Arbitration Court of the Slovak Bar Association and regularly acts as legal counsel or arbitrator in arbitration proceedings under the rules of the ICC, VIAC, UNCITRAL and the Arbitration Court of the Slovak Bar Association. She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb).
