Projects
We provided comprehensive legal advice to a leading global property and construction consultancy firm with respect to a Consultancy Services Agreement (FIDIC White Book), on the basis of which the client would provide project management services during the reconstruction and extension of regional airports in a West African country.
We assisted a local government authority in connection with the structuring and negotiation of a large residential development project in Prague, advising the client on how best to protect the public interest.
We represented the owner of a brownfield site in Ostrava with respect to an application to the Ministry of Industry and Trade for a subsidy for reclaiming the land. The client planned to build a logistics centre on the site.
We helped a leading Chinese producer of automotive parts set up its first subsidiary outside China, including negotiating with local government regarding the purchase of land and other aspects of the construction project.
We provided Vojenské lesy a statky with a complex assessment of the impacts of the new public procurement regulation on the right to dispose of land in state-owned military zones. The mandate involved over 261 km2 of land and entailed complex negotiations with local authorities, NGOs and other other parties.
