Jakub Lichnovsky is a recognised specialist in complex long-term industrial development projects, projects in infrastructure, energy and healthcare, incl. negotiation of EPC contracts, PPP projects and public procurement. His experience and understanding of the complex procedures required to develop a new manufacturing or commercial property and to place investments have generally helped guide both individual investors and large multinationals in making their investments in the Czech Republic and abroad.
Jakub graduated from the Faculty of Law of Charles University in Prague and has been working at PRK Partners for over twenty years. He became a partner in 2009.
Jakub has managed to successfully conclude numerous major development projects in the Czech Republic, including the development of a large greenfield industrial campus that involved a state subsidy for innovation, job creation and investment placement, industrial brownfield redevelopment and numerous other industrial and commercial projects, including the development of strategic industrial zones and the handling of environmental and construction law issues.
Jakub also regularly takes part in negotiations of complex EPC contracts in the field of construction of strategically important projects in the infrastructure and energy sectors.
He has also worked on management of extensive employment-related reorganisation projects, including outsourcing, management relations, personal data protection, investment incentives, compensation-benefit and collective-bargaining issues.
Jakub is fluent in Czech and English, and is an attorney at law of the Czech Bar Association. He is also a member of the managing board of Randa’s Foundation and has completed the Lex Mundi Foundation Management Program in California, USA, in 2009 and the Lex Mundi Business Management Program in Cambridge in 2015. Jakub has also received two awards from the Czech Bar Association as part of its publication competition.
Jakub splits his working time between Prague and Ostrava, where he is the head of our Moravian-Silesian regional office. The Ostrava office has eight dedicated staff members who closely cooperate with our Prague office.
