Petra Stupkova is an attorney at law at PRK Partners specialising in general corporate law, real estate and intellectual property law.
Petra graduated from the Faculty of Law of Charles University in Prague, where she obtained a Master’s degree in 1997 and a Doctorate degree (JUDr.) in 2007. In 2008 she received her LL.M degree in Corporate Law from the Faculty of Law of Masaryk University in Brno, in cooperation with Nottingham Trent University in Great Britain. Before joining PRK Partners in 2010, Petra worked at Bánský & partneři and Pelikán Krofta Kohoutek law firms in Prague.
Petra has a wealth of experience in representing clients in trademark registration proceedings before the Industrial Property Office of the Czech Republic and the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), including opposition proceedings, remonstrance proceedings, appellate proceedings and trademark post-registration proceedings. Petra assisted in representing a client in proceedings to invalidate a decision of the EUIPO before the General Court of the European Court of Justice. She also represents clients in litigations involving industrial property rights. Petra is experienced in drafting intellectual property license agreements.
She is a member of the Czech Bar Association as an attorney at law.
