Major step in the development of outdoor advertising media market
PRK Partners provided comprehensive legal advice to BB global acting as a buyer in the acquisition of a 60% share in BigBoard Praha. The team led by Partner Martin Aschenbrenner, together with Associate Partner Jan Ditrych and Attorney Natálie Cmíralová, provided legal services in the acquisition, in which BB global purchased a 60% share in the largest billboard operator in the Czech Republic, BigBoard Praha, from the JOJ Media House group. The transaction was completed following the obtaining of all regulatory and business approvals and represents a major step in the development of outdoor advertising media market.

Fruitless enforcement proceedings | Tereza Veselá
Since 2023, legal regulations for terminating so-called fruitless enforcement proceedings have been in effect. According to these regulations, enforcement proceedings will be terminated if no partial collection of the obligation has occurred within 6 years of the enforcement duration. The creditor can prevent this termination by expressing disagreement with the termination and depositing an advance payment for enforcement costs into the bailiff's account. However, such extension is only possible once. If no partial collection of the obligation occurs within 12 consecutive years, the fruitless enforcement will be terminated even without the creditor's consent.
