International Bar Association Days in Prague

Prague welcomed the world's leading legal minds over the course of several days. We were honoured to be part of an extraordinary series of events held as part of the International Bar Association Days in Prague, where the 19th Bar Leaders Conference and Mid-Year Leadership Meetings took place from 20–23 May.

The programme also included social events organised under the auspices of the Czech Bar Association with the support of PRK Partners, among them a reception at the residence of the Mayor of Prague and an event at the National Museum.

The International Bar Association brought to Prague bar leaders, representatives of bar associations, and leading lawyers from more than 170 countries to discuss topics such as:

  • Artificial intelligence and the future of the legal profession
  • Climate change and lawyers' responsibilities
  • Ethics and international arbitration Diversity, wellbeing, and the fight against corruption
  • Beyond the professional programme, the event was above all about meeting in person, sharing experiences, and building international relationships across jurisdictions.

We also greatly enjoyed our networking tour of Prague for IBA delegates, which included a visit to the Astronomical Tower of the Klementinum, where we presented Prague not only as an important legal hub, but also as a city with an extraordinary history, architecture, and atmosphere.

We thank all guests, colleagues, partners, and organisers for several inspiring days. We look forward to further meetings within the international legal community.
