Fruitless enforcement proceedings | Tereza Veselá
Since 2023, legal regulations for terminating so-called fruitless enforcement proceedings have been in effect. According to these regulations, enforcement proceedings will be terminated if no partial collection of the obligation has occurred within 6 years of the enforcement duration. The creditor can prevent this termination by expressing disagreement with the termination and depositing an advance payment for enforcement costs into the bailiff's account. However, such extension is only possible once. If no partial collection of the obligation occurs within 12 consecutive years, the fruitless enforcement will be terminated even without the creditor's consent.

Comprehensive legal advisory to Czech Centres (formerly Office of the General Commissioner for the Czech Republic's participation in the World Expo) in the competition for a proposal for complete architectural, design and conceptual solution and exhibition of the Czech national pavilion at the upcoming World Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan, and in organizing the tender procedure for the construction of the pavilion, which included negotiations with Japanese bidders - construction companies. The uniqueness of the entire case included, among other things, the use of innovative CLT technology for the construction of the pavilion, where the Czech pavilion at EXPO 2025 is the first metal-free CLT timber structure in Japan.
