Martin Svalbach is an in-house tax advisor at PRK Partners whose main areas of practice include corporate tax law, international tax law and tax aspects of financial instruments.

He obtained a Master’s degree (Mgr.) from the Faculty of Natural Sciences at Palacký University in Olomouc, an M.A. degree in economics from Central European University in Prague and an LL.M. degree from the International Tax Postgraduate Programme at Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien. Before joining PRK Partners in 2014 he worked in the tax department of PricewaterhouseCoopers in Prague (ten years), Deloitte (five years) and BDO (five years).

Martin’s significant clients have included all major Czech financial groups, multinational enterprises as well as individual investors.

Martin is a member of the ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) and a registered tax adviser and member of the Chamber of Registered Tax Advisors of the Czech Republic. Martin is recommended as an expert in tax law by Chambers Europe. He is fluent in Czech and English.
