Randa Foundation recognizes best law diploma theses

The winners of the Randa Foundation competition, which recognizes excellence in law school diploma theses, were announced in mid-December last year at the offices of PRK Partners, s.r.o. The students defended their theses – covering civil, commercial, financial, European, labour and international private law – before their respective Czech law faculties during the 2019/2020 academic year.

The winners of this prestigious award are the following:

  • Klaudie Konečná with her diploma thesis, “Modern Technologies in Medicine and Law” (Moderní technologie v medicíně a právo)

  • Ondřej Pajatsch with his diploma thesis, “Application of the Civil Code to Damage Caused by Autonomous Systems with a Focus on Autonomous Vehicles” (Aplikace občanského zákoníku na újmu způsobenou autonomními systémy se zaměřením na autonomní vozidla)

  • Viktor Kolmačka with his diploma thesis “Procedural and Material Effects of a Business Confirmation Letter” (Procesní a materiální účinky obchodního potvrzovacího dopisu)

The ceremony took place when the preventive measures related to the Covid-19 pandemic allowed up to 10 persons in a closed place.
