Our law firm provided comprehensive legal advice to the SATPO development group on the acquisition of a large residential portfolio in Prague's Písnice housing estate. SATPO is working closely with the WOOD & Company investment group on this exceptional project. This is the largest residential real estate transaction in the Czech Republic to date in 2026. The subject of this extensive acquisition from the CIB GROUP investment group comprised 16 apartment buildings with 760 residential units and land plots in close proximity to the planned Písnice metro station on Line D, offering extraordinary potential for the future revitalisation and development of the entire locality. Our legal support encompassed complete transactional services. We assisted the client from the initial due diligence phase and competition law analysis through the preparation of the complete transactional documentation and the securing of acquisition financing, to setting up the joint venture structure with WOOD & Company and structuring the newly established WOOD & Company City – OPF fund, which is the new owner of the project. This complex transaction was successfully carried out by a large team of our experts under the leadership of partner Robert Němec. The joint venture structure was prepared by partner Martin Kříž. Tomáš Bureš, Michaela Ericssonova, Kateřina Hájková, Martina Javorová, Petra Kerndlová, Filip Šilhavý and Tereza Veselá also played significant roles in the transaction and due diligence.
