Marek Prochazka is a founding Partner of PRK Partners specialising in corporate governance and dispute resolution (arbitration, mediation).
Marek was educated in Switzerland and the United States before practicing in the Czech Republic. After graduating from the University of Bern, he worked in the Department of Banking Law in the university’s law faculty. Afterwards, he obtained a Master’s degree (LL.M.) from Georgetown University Law Center, in Washington D.C.
Marek is an experienced lawyer with a longstanding practice, and his approach to resolving complex cases integrates various fields of law and other disciplines. Most of his cases involve international elements.
Marek is the president of the Chamber of Commerce Switzerland – Czech Republic and a member of the Board of Directors of the Aspen Institute Central Europe o.p.s.
Marek has been recommended as a leading practitioner in banking, finance and capital markets, litigation and arbitration and corporate governance by the following publications: Chambers Global, Chambers Europe, International Financial Law Review and IRL Expert Guides, European Legal Experts, Legal 500 and Best Lawyers.
He is fluent in English, German, Czech and French. He is an attorney at law of the Czech Bar Association, and he is also admitted in Switzerland, where he still practices on behalf of some Czech clients.
