JUDr. Rudolf Kozusnik serves as Of Counsel at PRK Partners specialising in real estate, commercial, environmental, and construction law, as well as in restitutions. In addition to his experience with a comprehensive agenda of contractual obligations, Rudolf focuses on project financing, transaction structuring and group restructuring.
JUDr. Rudolf Kozusnik earned his Doctorate degree (JUDr.) from the Faculty of Law of Charles University in Prague in 1982.
He worked at the Prague office of the international law firm Squire, Sanders & Dempsey between 1992 and 1995, and for Weil, Gotshal & Manges from 1995 to 2004.
As part his own legal practice from 2004 to 2010, Rudolf acted as a legal representative in several real estate law cases which are widely viewed as the largest and most important cases in the Czech market. He has negotiated many agreements with various government and municipal authorities as well as with state enterprises. On a number of occasions, Rudolf represented leading Czech and foreign investors in negotiating lease agreements in relation to their real estate portfolio management.
As a former diplomat, Rudolf has extensive experience in negotiating on an international level in the area of commercial and financial law, international transport, telecommunications and environmental law. Rudolf is a member of the Association for Development of the Real Estate Market. Since 2010, Rudolf is regularly listed in Who's Who Legal: Real Estate in the Czech Republic, an annual guide published by the International Bar Association (IBA). In 2016 he was also listed as the foremost legal practitioner in Construction Law.
He is fluent in Czech and English and has a good knowledge of Russian and French.
