Digitization in the practice of law, new trends, experience abroad – the profession's direction will depend on new technologies

On 11 March 2020, PRK Partners held an exclusive conference in Prague for select colleagues, employees and partners. In today's practice of law, technologies already exist that can automate large amounts of work; other technologies are continuously being developed, and only well-prepared offices will be successful in the future. The conference included presentations from international legal specialists Robert Rogers, Gerrit Beckhaus and Robert Millard. Their talks were followed by stimulating Q&As, led by legal industry analyst and business development coach Ari Kaplan. All participants agreed that the new technologies simplify and, most importantly, streamline work and communication with clients. At the same time, thanks to the higher quality of data collected, analyzing it is more efficient. However, personal contact with clients remains essential and highly valued. The afternoon session included presentations from Dalibor Kačmář, Daniel Svoboda and Aleš Blažek with follow-up discussions moderated by David Lorenc, CEO and Founder of Xodigi. Finally, the PRK Partners’ know-how team presented its work results in this field to date, including the team's Model Law and Orkist projects. The complete conference programme is available HERE.
