Miriam Galandová, obtained JUDr. degree from Comenius University Law School in Bratislava and Ing. degree from University of Economics, Faculty of Commerce in Bratislava.
She worked for 6 years in the Bratislava Office of Andersen and then for 8 years at White & Case in Bratislava where she was named partner in 2009.
Working for both local and multinational corporate clients has provided her with experience in all areas of corporate and international taxation, and tax structuring for major Slovak corporate groups. She has participated in projects involving transfer pricing and structuring assistance for foreign investment, while also assisting clients in the tax litigation process.
She also focuses on real estate and Greenfield projects, as well as mergers and acquisitons.
Miriam is a member of Slovak Chamber of Tax Advisors, a member of the Methodical Commission for Direct Taxation and a member of The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
She is fluent in Slovak, Czech and English.
