PRK Partners is representing Westinghouse in connection with the extension of the Temelín nuclear power plant
PRK Partners is representing Westinghouse - a major engineering company - in connection with the tender run by the State-owned ČEZ for the extension of the Temelín nuclear power plant and potential expansion of other nuclear facilities in Central Europe.
PRK is providing complex Czech and EU public procurement and contract law advice to Westinghouse in connection with the tender run by CEZ for the construction of two new nuclear units at the Temelin power plant. „We appreciate your good work and I would recommend you to others if asked“, said the Assistant General Counsel of Westinghouse Electric Company on 2 June 2011.
The project, worth several billion euro will include an option to order up to three additional nuclear units elsewhere in Europe. The other bidders in the Temelin tender are France’s Areva and a consortium of Czech company Skoda JS and Russian companies Atomstojexport and Gidropress. The winner should be announced in 2013.
